Jolene Germann
Farm Management Consultant
Jolene has been a dairy consultant with Agribusiness Consultants since 2014 and became a director in 2017. Originally from a sheep and beef farm in Waikato, Jolene completed a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science with first-class honours, before completing a PhD based at AgResearch Ruakura.
Together with her dairy farming husband Hadleigh, Jolene moved to Southland in 2011, and worked for Ravensdown, before joining Agribusiness Consultants. Hadleigh and Jolene are currently sharemilkers and co-owners of a 550-cow equity partnership near Otautau, giving her a lot of practical experience and understanding of the dairy industry.
Outside of work and farming, Jolene keeps busy with two young kids and particularly enjoys coaching their sport and being involved in her community. Jolene is co-chair of her local catchment group and holds several other governance positions.
